Frolander Bay Beach Retreat Cottages are situated on 240' of beachfront on the Sunshine Coast, BC only 15 minutes south of Powell River. Being hidden in the trees along the shoreline both the larger cottage and cabin have loads of privacy. Frolander Bay Beach Retreat is on the circle tour route so make it a stop along the way or enjoy our incredible location as a destination.
Ocean Hideaway Cottage
Ocean Hideaway has a bedroom with new king size bed, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, sitting room in the bay window, living room with fireplace, laundry room and bathroom on the main level. On the lower level enjoy the sleeping area with 1 double bed and 2 single beds, sitting area and walk out covered patio that is just steps from the beach. The hardwood floors were refinished on the main level and new exotic hardwood floors were installed on the lower level of Ocean Hideaway Cottage in July 2007. Ocean Hideaway is about 1300 sq ft on 2 levels making it comfortable and cozy for a family or a couple families enjoying holidays together.
Lapping Waves Cabin
Lapping Waves Cabin is cute and cozy offering living area, kitchen, 1 bedroom with a double size bed and bathroom. French doors open onto the covered patio area where you will enjoy sitting with your morning coffee or having a barbeque for dinner. Lapping Waves Cabin was extensively renovated (new kitchen, new bathroom, new appliances, all new plumbing and electrical fixtures, slate flooring, tile countertop, cedar plank ceiling, new drywall and designer colors) in August 2007.
